In the years leading up to 2020, a lot of my travel, both long-haul and shorter, domestic routes, was linked to business.
With that came many in-flight wifi purchases (looking at you GoGo). And while I thought I was being productive, half the time, it was wasted on terrible load times, messaging friends and family, and going down rabbit holes of news.

Being able to disconnect from the craziness of life for a few hours gave me a newfound appreciation for productivity mode.
Airplane mode now truly means airplane mode — whether I want to be creative or productive, that’s my choice. But I can do so uninterrupted and with a tad less stress.
What’s your personal airplane mode?
